I have no problem with the actual gas service, but I have lived in St. Joe for over two years, and have yet to get a bill from the company, despite quite a few requests to their customer service. The only time I hear from them is when they want to shut off my service for non-payment. So I send in an estimate of what I think I might owe, until I get another of their threatening notices. Now the latest thing is that it's impossible to get through their phone lines, only getting a recording. How difficult is it to send me a bill, either paper or electronic?
It is not a lot of money but it is an annoyance that they are unwilling to send out the check. i could never run my business this way! WOW!
I closed out an account in which there was a positive balance last MAY. They issued a refund check in June that was no good. the bank refused to cash or deposit it. MGE said it was a bad batch of checks and new one would be reissued. It is now mid November, after at least five phone calls and emails in which they assured me a replacement would be mailed out, there is still no check.
