This is a hidden treasure to our town. The burrito is so huge no way one person can finish. Tacos are great, made with fresh corn tortillas that they make everyday. If you want food that is authentic try the buffet. Where else can you get cactus? The guacamole is so fresh made to order and cheeper than you can buy the ingredients. I've traveled to Mexico dozens of times, and Garcia's defiantly takes me back with it's friendly family smiles and great food. You just have to try new things. Prices are great for a family too. Great little store to pick up those items you can only get in Mexico.

Today is the first time I have been here for a long while. As of 5 months ago it has changed owners and you can tell the difference! I spent almost $40 on tamales, carnitas, chicharrones, pastries, and drinks. Wasn't so much worried about the price because it all sounded so good but it was the total opposite! Horrible doesn't even begin to describe it. The tamales are dry, have zero flavor, are burnt, and about as big as a hot dog. The carnitas tastes of expired freezer burnt meat. It is tough, overcooked and has so much fat and gristle that it's almost impossible to chew let alone swallow. The chicharrones are overcooked and so crunchy that I thought I broke my tooth! Needless to say, I am positive the pastries we will try in the morning will make for just as horrible of a breakfast as this did dinner! I've had a lot of authentic, delicious Mexican food in my life and even some bad but this by far is the worst. It's so bad I'm not even going to feed it to my dogs. It's all in the trash and I know I will not be returning. If you decide to try it for yourself, don't say I didn't warn you!
