I walked in to get a number this lady came over. Was rude and hateful and unfortunately you cant take your business elsewhere. The lady that usually is upfront helping was out sick so i guess this lady was mad she actually worked in the drivers license division anyway they were not busy at all in less than 5 min My number was called went to get tags for my grandson the lady who helped me was also rude and she was not well informed at all the guy sitting next to her was very nice and knew what he was doing there was one other girl that was very nice. I sold 2 old cars and bought a brand new car in Jan/Feb. I lost a title to one vehicle, and i had to get a replacement in order to sell it. I called to make sure what all i needed to get a replacement title so that when i came in, it was easy and quick. I came in early to that appointment, and it went smooth and i got the title about a week later. Sold both my cars, and registered my brand new car. So i planned another early Saturday meet up, and to my surprised the staff was again very friendly and efficient! From my past experiences with other DMVs, i was pleasantly surprised how quick and painless the staff here made things for me. First times are usually a fluke, but 2-3 more consistent visits with the same customer service makes this DMV superlative.
I have been to the DMV here several times. Most of the time there is a long wait to be seen. I have had extremely rude staff "help" me. There is an air of negativity about the place and it is noticeable. They have done some remodeling recently but it doesn't seem to be functionally any better. Avoid this place if you can!
Answered all my questions and got me through the licensing area fast but my mom was waiting a while for her title.
