Real shame it's restricted. As a guy traveling with a dog who loves to run. It's always a shame to find a dog park only to find out "we don't want your dog here if you haven't paid us money" on the sign.
There certainly are worse ways to make money, but charging for a dog park is ridiculous. Municipalities need to spend less on expensive baseball fences and more on simple dog park enclosing fences. Dog parks get used constantly. Some baseball structures are never used (at least when I pass them).
Well maintained large area for big dogs and a smaller area for little dogs. It was really nice. You do have to have a license to visit though
Wonderful place for our lab to get her energy out and socialize with other dogs! Friendly people, good walking trail, lots of squirrels for the dogs to chase, safe fencing, dog waste bags provided, trash cans, benches for the people, drinking fountain and water dishes for the pups. Water is shut off for winter, so bring in water for your pup to drink. Separate fenced area for small dogs. No human restrooms. All in all...awesome place provided by taxpayers! Love it!!
I was able to let my dogs run around without worrying about them and they had was of letting the dogs get a drink and a way to pick up the poop. There is even an area for smaller dogs.
