They have an exceptional array of saltwater fish beautifully displayed in multiple tank environments. They have a magnificent LPS and SPS coral selection that are too numerous to count . They are truly a "one stop shop" for the marine hobbyist.
The only thing lacking is the product lines, but with a small store you can't carry alot of product on hand anyway but, the key is the store owner could most likely order you any product you could want. I have noticed she dose carry the brightwell line and that is a pretty nice line to keep on hand sadly alot of people don't even think about useing it, it's on the top self so look up cause it is a top shelf product.
I've been to multiple other reef shops and this one is by far the best. Julie and her husband are fantastic people who will bend over backwards to help their customers. Their years of experience allow them to assist every level of reef keeper, from the "I think I want a saltwater tank" beginner to the "I've had saltwater fish for years" expert. They are very patient and helpful.
Unbelievable selection of coral and salt water fish; hands down the best place in the region. Owners are extremely knowledgeable and very nice (and patient!). Highly recommended.
Fantastic Reef Shop:
Went in to buy some feed for research purposes. They were very helpful, and actually gave me some samples for free. We now have a new go to store for aquatic supplies.
The only thing that I miss form this store is the owner use to have cheap frags $5/$10 and so on up in a nice tank in the store front that made reefing a little more affordable for those on a buget, I really wish the owner would bring back more of those and maybe some single head lps frags so I can spend more money here and watch my frags grow out. Maybe if I ask pretty please?
This is a little shop, but not to little. Once inside it is very clean and tanks are well taken care of. I don't think I have found a single fish with ick yet, and that's a great thing.
I would like to say that the tail spot blenny and the yellow clow goby that I have gotten form this store came with no signs of ick or illness, and have made great first additions to my new nano tank(also note to the owner cause I know you read these... Those fish and nano tank will be on YouTube and Instagram under Rico's nano tank challenge 2018). I would like to see something like a Sally light foot crab when I come back. Live stock slection is pretty nice to pick from.
This is a place you need to experience to believe.
Julie is very helpful and won't try to sell you something you don't need. Full of knowledge, don't be afraid to ask questions.
But over all, love the store, owner isn't pushy and has let me come in and out the store over the last 5 years many of times never asking for my business nore kicking me out, only asking if I need help finding something; for this she has earned my money and I expect that I will be spending most of it here.
The one thing that might turn away newer people form the hobby or this store is the price of somethings. The price of some live stock or dry product can be a little high in some areas compared to a few of the stores in the area. Fear not tho, as with that price also comes quality. The price of live stock is well worth it here! It's hard for any store front to complete with product price of online stores so this little mark up to help meet over head I don't mind paying.
