My grandma was at Abbey Woods for therapy after breaking her hip. She liked everyone especially the therapy staff. They gave her back her independence, something she was afraid she would lose. We can not thank Abbey Woods enough.
i went into visit a friend and she was having trouble breathing i stood at desk while 3 employees did not even look at me 1 on phone talking about her days off 1 sitting at desk seperating reciepts .she totally ignored me .1 im not sure what she was doing ,however there was 1 nurse who came out from actually working and asked me if i needed help she then couldnt find a oxgen finger thing on any of their carts .but she did attend to my friend and took care of her. but the rest of those ladys were useless.
I can't imagine anyone ever plans on needing a place like this but injuries happen. I want to thank everyone at Abbey Woods for the amazing work you all do and the patience you have for those of us faced with making these decisions.
Not a bad place for my uncle to stay, but the staff has seriously pissed me off by giving my name to any bill collector for my uncle. They have no legal right to do so as I haven't signed any papers stating that I would be financially responsible for him.
I feel like it was a atmosphere. all the nurses and the CNA's were all friendly and spoke to me which means a lot. I know that if I needed help that would be the first place I would go
