This review is not solely related to just one campus.The CEO and upper management teams for all the campuses are directly responsible for driving this company to the ground and below. They offer great programs, and charge an extremely high price for tuition but do not deliver the quality one should expect in relation. Students are told they only have to attend 33%-50% of the time, then are harassed daily and even hourly if they miss class. Instructors are required to spend valuable time focusing on students who are AREN'T there, rather than give their time and attention to the good students who ARE THERE to learn. The facilities and tool kits are way below industry standards and do not include all items needed to perform their tasks or even meet industry regulations. Additionally students are charged more than 3 times the normal cost of said kits and items. Students are even required to pay additional money for their graduation cap and gown. As a result many of them do not "cross the stage" for their friends and family to celebrate their accomplishments. Many times necessary paperwork is not processed which results in that student being terminated from school, leaving them with a huge debt with nothing in return. Convicted felons are enrolled only to find later they cannot get employment in their chosen field. People who are mentally retarded and are not even capable of entering into a legal agreement are enrolled just to have the 'numbers up'. The CEO tells her "underlings" to focus on the numbers alone and keep their ideas for improvement to themselves, while she enjoys a yearly salary of over two million dollars. In the past 4 years, five of the campuses have been closed due to the mismanagement of CEO Pam Bell, who took over the company circa 2009. Prior to that Vatterott Education Centers had an excellent reputation for delivering quality education. Individual campuses had a student population of over 300 each, but now are lucky to have 100 students total. Vatterott employs many excellent instructors who really care about their students, however they are micro-managed very heavily and not able to deliver a quality education because of it. When a student drops out because they were mis-lead and lied to, or the 'corporate managers didn't do their job properly, the instructors are blamed and told that if they did a better job students wouldn't quit. I often wonder if Ms Bell is proud of her management skills and the many lives she is destroying each year. Good job Ms. Bell!

Classes cost way too much and most people end up not working in the field they chose anyway
