I have been going here since I first moved to St. Joesph in 2012. I have to admit I loath the destist. The smell, the cavity filling, the everything. BUT this dentist office is really great. Now yes I still have these feelings when I walk in the door and that goes for any dentist I have seen, but here when I get my teeth cleaned, its just an in and out process. I am alittle more at ease when checking in. I am not lectured about what I am doing wrong and that I am doing a horrible job at keeping my teeth clean (which was the words of another doctor in springfield.) its just "Hey try and brush alittle better because your gums seem a little red or hey there looks to be a cavity comming on but if you stay on top of your brushing that should fix itself." I only give it a four star because the wait time is alittle too long sometimes.
My children and I have been going to Dr. Goin since 1996 when my daughter was a toddler and my son an infant. We plan to stay with her practice until she retires or we leave the area, whichever comes first. We schedule our appointments so that all three can be in and out at the same time. The staff are communicative and efficient. We get reminder calls and emails. There is little wait time from check in to the hygienist, from the hygienist to the dentist, from the dentist to check out. And we all get a bag of goodies to take home each visit (toothbrush, toothpaste and floss).
