Very slow service and not really treated with respect.
Hello Ms. Smith.. by the way, we have no clue what's wrong with you.. fever, night sweats, nausea, severe sore throat, haven't eaten in 3 days.. maybe you should take some ibuprofen.. just wasted 2 hours for no answers.. thanks Urgent Care..
A month and a half later, I start running a fever. Four days later, I still have a fever and my kidneys are hurting so badly that I'm laid up in bed. I give them another chance. I ask them to take a urine sample this time before they can just catch hustle me out the door. I was seen by a nurse practitioner this time. She was at least nice and didn't talk down to me like I was stupid. They confirm a fever, and white blood cells in my urine and tell me "it's just not enough for us to really want to do anything about it. " Since it didn't burn when i peed, I was told to that if the symptoms got worse I should go to the ER. Nobody could believe it when I told them what happened.
If there was a way to give this place negative stars, I would... I don't have insurance and got really sick a couple months back and someone told me they were cheaper than the ER. Well, they were, and you get whay you pay for. Couldn't eat and vomiting for three days, and after nothing but a strep test the THE ACTUAL DOCTOR told me I "had a severe case of the ickies". Then she told me if she could wave her magic wand and make it all better, she would. Not impressed that go around.
Waited an hour with a one and a half year old with a bladder infection in the waiting room. I knew exactly what was wrong with her I just need antibiotics to make her feel better. But we finally got to the back area when she started crying uncontrollably in the waiting room and I reminded the check in lady we had been there an hour. Got to the back section about six people were shooting the breeze.
I'm 33 years old, and haven't been to the doctor in 5 1/2 years until two months ago. I'm generally healthy, able to just sleep off any time I feel a bit under the weather. Best thing I can say for them is the receptionist was pleasant and helpful, and the nurses were pleasant enough. I'm never going back there, even if it's the last place on earth. If I'm going to just die anyways due to their severe lack in quality of care and outright negligence, I'm not going to waste the money on those people...
Two weeks later, I was doubled up in pain. It was excruciating. This time I went to the ER. And you know what happened? They listened. They ran tests of my abdomen. They took blood. They ran a urine sample. And you know what all that doctor stuff did? It found out what was wrong... I have gastritis and/or an ulcer. You know how to fix it? Pepcid ac. Tums. Watching what I eat and drink for a bit so my stomach has time to heal. That's it. So simple. Urgent care never even felt my belly. They didn't even touch me. I had lost 6 lbs in between visits to urgent care. My actual stomach had been a hard knot for two months, causing moderate to sever pain, and it feels like they didn't even try...
Everyone in there had a staring problem and making me wait but letting people who just came in get help.
