This was one of the most professional hospitals I have been to, and I am in healthcare. My family member was listened to and cared for by genuinely nice people, who were knowledgeable and helpful. Clean facility. And you can just tell everyone loves working here.
Having been at this hospital on many different occasions I have this to say that it is a joke it doesn't matter what is wrong they treat people with no care or consideration at all. I dread it if i need to go bc I know that I am not going to be taken care of properly from the time you get there you are waiting whether it be in the waiting area or back in the Emergency room and forget it if your in pain and need something they treat everyone like a junkie looking for a fix. It's ridiculous!! I have on multiple occasions been given medicine that is clearly listed on my allergy medication list for years. I don't understand why they even have the damn thing if they're going to disregard it, and give you what they want to with no regard if the drug might kill you. And if you do go there and you get a diagnosis have it checked for a second a opinion because I've lost count on all 10 fingers and toes how many times they have said nothing is wrong and go somewhere else and be checked out and come to find out that there are serious issues. Internal bleeding doesn't seem like nothing's wrong to me. Needless to say don't waste all night getting nowhere in this place. PLEASE go somewhere else you'll be better off. You never know if you might make it out alive!!
Lately moved to this area. Needed a total hip replacement. Dr. Brian Duncan performed surgery Oct 23. Six hours after post OP the nurses got me up with rehab beginning the next morning. The nurses, rehab staff and all others I dealt with were friendly, fair and obviously had my well-being in mind. I went home Thursday morning after Monday surgery and am well on my way to recovery!
Dr. Parmar appears to have a blatant disrespect for his hippocratic oath by refusing to do a follow-up on a veteran with PTSD. His office wanted to violate the law and copy a military ID. When the veteran explain they could not copy the ID the office manager said, "Then you cannot see the doctor." Another office worker claimed to be in the military and told the veteran that they could copy it. The veteran had a medical authorization and validated the illegality of copying a military ID. But the office manager still refused to allow the appointment to take place. The veteran was insistent on seeing Dr. Parmar who eventually came out to the waiting room and told the veteran to get the hell out of his office. Not only did the doctor refuse follow-up care but his aggressive nature caused the veteran to flashback and exasperated the veteran's PTSD symptoms. Dr. Parmar may be an outstanding surgeon but his lack of professionalism when dealing with this veteran is appalling.
My daughter goes to college in Atchison Kansas and was transported to Mosaic Life Care by ambulance and placed in ICU for 2 days. I cannot say enough about how great this hospital is and staff was amazing. I thank them for everything they did for my daughter and the outstanding doctors and staff that helped her get better. Wish this hospital was near Dallas!!
