Nice staff, great room with full kitchen and Blu Ray player. Does not have breakfast so plan ahead in advance. Very clean and nice hotel in a great location of shops in town.
Very nice place was really excited about staying .. nice set up..staff was very nice and polite. . the only issue I had is when we got to our room there was trident gum wraper that fell out of between mattress when i pulled covers out and m&m wraper on floor. But overall nice place .
The title says so much...a "simple straightforward no nonsense place to stay". If you ask the desk staff member or general manager at the time of check in for a more favorable rate you most likely will not receive any consideration. $275.00 for a single room guest without any need of room service or staff assistance for ONE while staying in St Joseph Misouri is absolutely TOO much to charge a single traveler without pet, child or roommate. It would behoof one to check the chamber of commerce and other locations offering more for a much less fee before settling for these suites. It does not work to negotiate with the general manager in person as some online information sites suggest. The care staff team at the front desk are attentive and willing to please. Guest facilities are clean, quiet, and roomy. Beds are average and show some sag. The hotel offerings leave something to be desired at best. The continental breakfast was out of order or service or just nonexistent which was not mentioned before payment so you will not find out until after checking in so remember to inquire before handing over your credit card while agreeing to stay. There is not a breakfast to be had AT ALL. Another couple here during my stay suggested using IGH Rewards Club. Please remember that it is not the staff but the conglomerate naming the money. All support team staff receive a nod of appreciation for their hard work. Thanking you, I am, for the excellence. This is one guest's opinion.

Nice, clean hotel. Front desk was very polite. The rooms have full kitchenettes, rooms were a decent size, clean, and updated. They have a pantry for purchasing items and a cabinet full of kitchen appliances and board games you can borrow without charge. They have a business center in the lobby. There's a gym. They have free laundry. Parking lot is a little on the small side but it works for them. There is a strip mall of stores and nearby restaruants within walking distance. Overall a good place to stay if in the area. I would stay again next time I come through.
