I'm being literal here.
We stayed here one night while moving across country. The good thing about this motel is that it's located near the freeway and has good access to amenities such as Cracker Barrel. On the flip side, the location is also a bit sketchy - we saw quite a few homeless type people hanging out around the parking lot. Made it a little uncomfortable. The room itself was not in good shape. There were holes in the walls, and the molding around the bathroom door was completely pulled off the wall and just hanging by a little strand. The shower drained slowly. The room was cheap though, so I suppose it could have been worse! The guy that checked us in was nice, though.
Very nice staff, room was in good shape, clean except for the bath tub. It looked like someone had walked on the bottom of it with muddy boots then left the mess.
Staff was very helpful. However, it would have been nice to have shampoo. We also had to borrow a hair dryer. Room was clean and nice. The rate was good but not enough better than other motels to not have the basics.
Location was perfect and plenty of parking. Front staff was amazing. There was no Do Not Disturb sign in the room and requested one so that I would get no maid service but they didn't have a spare but said they would put the request in the computer. I had my reservations but I found my room was never entered as requested. Heating system was good enough to dry all my wet clothes hanging near it. Only problem was the charge of $3.50 a night for internet. I only needed it for about an hour to send messages to my wife as I have no cell phone and to check a couple other things. The second night I used it even less.
It was a typical motel 6 stay. It wasn't the worst or the best. They seemed to be a little more strict there, they had us sign a paper with their quiet time policies and rules. They also didn't have free wifi. You had to pay $4, which isn't bad. It was fairly clean and an okay place to sleep while on the road.
It was $52 plus tax. We usually stay at the Drury Inn but $140 after 8 pm seemed a stupid price so we did this place. On the whole inexpensive and clean. The parking lot is well lit and there's parking for semis in the back.
