On February 14, 2017, our family adopted a pup from the local shelter. A few days later, we picked her up at countryside vet. The staff seemed extremely nice, the office and lobby clean. We returned for our pups (Bailey) shots and nail trimming. We continue to take Bailey to this vet for all her needs.
Office hours close . Will be going elsewhere from now on. Have been thinking about it for sometime but this was the final string .
We adopted another pup, in July 2017. Our new pup also is a client at countryside vet.
We have driven 30 miles to doctor with Countryside for 20+ years. In my opinion, they are the best. Yesterday, I paid a visit and it was necessary to euthanasia my sweet Miss Phoebe, a furry friend for 15 years. I am so appreciative of Dr Eric & his staff for the compassionate care they practice. Although my heart breaks at my loss, the ordeal was somewhat more bearable by their care & understanding. Thank you to both Dr Daryl & Dr Eric, and to your staff.
Wouldn't acknowledge she was at door with sick
Pretty bad experience tonight . Took dog to their location. Knew we were cutting time close but needed to get in to see vet. When we pulled up it was a few minutes before close. Wife jumped out of truck to take dog up and lady locked door on her .
Would have gave a great big zero, but that was not an option. Took my little 9 pound dog to the other clinic this doctor owns..East Hills Animal Clinic for teeth cleaning and extractions in Feb 2017. THEY LOST MY DOG! Busiest area in St Joseph...and they lose my dog! With very little help from them and never helping to cover any of my expenses to this day, my little girl was found 21 days after they lost her. 21 days in frigid cold temperatures and she's extremely cold natured! We even had a tornado WARNING on one of those cold nights. When we got her back, (21 days later),she had lost ONE THIRD of her body weight and she had a very deep wound on her side the size of a half dollar, where some animal had gotten to her. My appointment turned into a 21 day nightmare, losing time from work and hundreds of dollars in expenses. What did I get from the owner, Dr Eric Haeker? A brief letter in the mail a few days later that basically said..'glad you found your dog. Now you and your family can move on into the future'. This is not the 1st time they have lost a pet. Let me tell you... when you take your pet in for care to a vet, you never, ever even think of this as a posability. These people did not care about my dog. Never take your pet to anyone who has done this horrible thing to someone else's pet. Also, he also owns EAST HILLS ANIMAL CLINIC in St Joseph.
I have not been to too many vets in my life. But this place seems decent. Picked up my adopted dog, from the shelter, from here. Things went smoothly. Price wasn't bad
